Terms & Conditions

Please note the following in regard to the legislated VAT increase which is effective from 1 April 2018:

  • Our last orders for the month of March (at 14%) will be processed by 2.00pm on Thursday 29 March 2018.
  • Any orders placed thereafter will be invoiced on 2 April and the invoice will carry VAT at 15%.
  • All prices on our website are excluding VAT, but for orders placed after 1 April, the order confirmations will reflect VAT at 15%.
  • Any credit notes issued after the 1st of April 2018, relating to invoices issued prior to 1st of April 2018, will be credited at the original 14% VAT rate.
  • Any client quotations issued but not delivered prior to 1 April, will carry VAT at 15% if invoiced and/or delivered after 1 April.

 

Imported German Products

  • Please note there may be changes to the price of all imported (German) product due to fluctuations of the Rand/Euro exchange rate.  We do/will however try our best to keep the pricing as consistent as possible.
  • German range items are on a special ordering cycle and generally remain in the catalogue to allow for reservation of replenished stock. If Sapphire is waiting for a replenishment of stock, your order will be subject to a delay.

Returns

  • All Returns on Discounted Items Should Take Place Within One Week Of Purchase. No Returns / Exchanges will be Accepted After 3 Months of Purchase Date for Non-Discounted Items.
  • Our locally produced watches – 24 month carry in warranty is given that this item is free of defects in material & workmanship. This warranty becomes invalid if damages are caused by misuse, abuse, or if watch has been opened or otherwise tampered with. Cracked glass, straps, batteries & water damages are excluded from the warranty. Should a watch be faulty in material and/or workmanship watch is returned to manufacturer for assessment.  Once assessed watch will be fixed and returned.
  • Imported watches from the German Catalogue – 12 month carry in warranty is given that this item is free of defects in material & workmanship. This warranty becomes invalid if damages are caused by misuse, abuse, or if watch has been opened or otherwise tampered with. Cracked glass, straps, batteries & water damages are excluded from the warranty. Watches are returned to manufacturer in Germany upon return watches will be assessed and either credited or replacement received.

Shipping & Shipping Fees

  • Shipping Fee: Please note that orders below R1000.00 excl. VAT will carry a delivery charge of R85.00 Should your order exceed R1000.00 excl. VAT, it will be shipped free of charge.
  • Please note the Shipping Fee is only for to destinations within South Africa. If your delivery address is based outside of South Africa your delivery fee will be calculated once your order is received and then quoted on.
  • Shipping on German range items may be delayed due to immediate stock availability.

Payment

  • PLEASE NOTE: Due to cheque fraud, cheques are NOT accepted as payment. Any deposits made by cheque into our bank account will be subject to a mandatory 15 working day waiting period to ensure funds have cleared, before any stock will be dispatched.
